“The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be.”—Marcel Pagnol (via kari-shma)
“The best part of having a relationship is getting to call the person or lay down next to them and tell them all the crazy things that happened to you all day long. And in the end that’s what it’s about, kids. It’s not about the sex, it’s not about the money that they give you or whatever. It’s not about how good-looking they are, it’s about, can they listen to you talk for hours and hours and hours about stupid shit that doesn’t matter. And if they can, then you’re meant to be together forever. Even if that means you have to call them 100 times, that’s okay.”—Tegan Quin (via raindropsonredroses)
“Life is pretty simple: You do some stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works. If it works big, others quickly copy it. Then you do something else. The trick is the doing something else.”—Leonardo Da Vinci (via aplacecalledfreedom)
“I read somewhere that everybody on this planet is separated by only six other people. Six degrees of separation between us and everyone else on this planet. The President of the United States, a gondolier in Venice, just fill in the names. I find it extremely comforting that we’re so close. I also find it like Chinese water torture, that we’re so close because you have to find the right six people to make the right connection… I am bound, you are bound, to everyone on this planet by a trail of six people.”—Six Degrees of Separation, 1993 (via quote-book)
I guess what I really want is to feel loved. Like just for once, somebody would be afraid of losing me. Like I'm a priority, not just an option that's never chosen. I want to be told i'm beautiful. I want people to care enough to stay in my life and not walk out.
Photo which we took when we went to the Zoo♥ My Dear, I Love You♥♥♥
Another precious day of my term break.
Woke up at about 1430.
Bought Si Dzing’s present (Hehe, Si Dzing, my secret:D)
Went to watch Gulliver’s Travel with my dear:)
Had dinner at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe!:)
Home sweet home.
That’s pretty much my day? Or rather what I did for half of my day. I had a great day out with my dear:D Though we did nothing much, but I’m fine with it cause I’m out with you:) We don’t necessarily need to have certain things to do etc. It’s okay not having any places to go to, and just randomly walking. It’s okay my dear.
I find myself super noisy today, so annoyed, annoyed by myself-_-“
What happened to the word ‘Term Break’? Aren’t we supposed to have a BREAK? Why are we still piled with assignments?!?! Grrrrrr. Why can’t our lectures be more understanding and not fix due dates of assignments right after our term break and e-learning week? We are humans after all.
“Good doesn’t exist without evil. Good wouldn’t have a meaning, if we never knew what bad was. Success doesn’t exist without failures. We’d have nothing to succeed at, if we didn’t fail at anything. Love doesn’t exist without struggle. There would be no reason to love, if we didn’t struggle so much for how much it was worth it in the end.”—Beatriz Daquioag (via quote-book)
“If you are kind people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway.”—Mother Teresa (via lifeinsideout)
